Located close to Santa Croce in Florence, Upim Florence offers a wide rage of multi branded clothing and accessories for women, men and children. Stocking Esprit, Springfield, and other brands, one entire floor is dedicated to women: clothing, lingerie, accessories and cosmetics.

UPIM is an Italian brand store that has its origins tracing all the way back to 1928’s Milan Piazza Loreto. By 1934, the Italians were already associating the 35 Upim stores to “shopping”.

Today, Upim counts 400 stores in Italy and abroad and is one of the most famous department stores in Italy.

Clothing prices in here are better than most outlets, yet the cotton and linen quality of some of the manufactured goods is impressive. There’s nothing fancy about textures or models, the accent is on authenticity and comfort.

They rather score points on the casual and accessory collections, as their sportswear line doesn’t really stand out, due to monotonous coloring and granny-style models.

The cosmetics line is pretty much covering all needs: hair products, face and body creams and lotions, perfume, make-up and much more. For originality’s sake, look for Italian brands like Collistar or per una.
