Half an hour by public transport from the center of Amsterdam, in the district of Amsterdam-Zuidoost, Amsterdam Arena is a must for lovers of football. Opened in 1996 and rated four stars by UEFA is one of the most beautiful and important stadium in the recent history of European football. This stadium has hosted major events including 1998 Champions League Final, semi-final of Euro 2000 and the final of the Europa League in 2013.

The historic city team Ajax Amsterdam, the most important of The Netherlands, known worldwide and winner of four Champions League play their home games in this stadium. Several of the best players ever as Johan Cruyff, Marco Van Basten and Clarence Seedorf played for this team.

The Dutch National Team, one of the best teams in the world, finalist in three World Cups in 1974, 1978 and 2010, and winner of Euro 1988, plays most of his home games in this stadium.

The guided tour of the stadium takes an hour and visitors learn about the history of the stadium and the team Ajax Amsterdam in addition to enjoy the experience of visiting the press room, locker rooms and playing field.

The tour is conducted in English and Dutch, seven days a week.
